The song "Flow Gently Sweet Afton" was written by Jonathan Edwards Spilman from the Robert Burns Poem. I wrote a biography of his daughter, Byrd Spilman Dewey titled "Pioneering Palm Beach: The Deweys and the South Florida Frontier"
